Very happy with super soft leather jacket.
My sister bought this for me for Christmas. It is exactly what I wanted. Red, leather and a small backpack with lots of pockets. I put it away and packed it up to bring back home here in Texas. I unpacked it and went to switch everything from my travel purse to this one.
Well, 2 zippers will not mesh when zippered. Plus, there are 2 different types and colors of zippers, 2 with fine teeth and the 2 with bigger teeth. 1 of each kind splits open. In the chaos of opening gifts and then putting it away until I got here, I never looked more closely.
I am not returning home to Canada any time soon and the cost of returning by mail is ridiculous.
So disappointed 😞. I can't use it like this. Stuff will just fall out of 2 if the 4 pockets. I would be happy to have it replaced with one in which all the zippers worked but, doubt I would be given that option since my return won't be until maybe May, more probable in August.

Fantastic quality and fit to size. Perfect for when I am riding mymotorcycle, sturdy and great traction when stopping and support is needed.

Very cute indeed but seems smaller in person than the measurements listed. Seems like genuine soft leather however there is no leather smell at all and no tag saying it is and you can't really tell by the inside with the liner if its suede underneath but its says it is in the description so I'll take their word for it!

This is my second handbag over the last 5 years. Sadly my dog recently chewed up my last leather bag and it was still in perfect shape! I was so excited to see that this store still had the exact same purse, I’m not the gentlest with purses and this purse survived all of the wear and tear (including the lining)! It’s very well made and attractive bag, functional with lots of compartments. The burgundy is very attractive.
I have purchased a few derek alexander bags, but recently found the best priced one on Boutique of Leathers. They even gave me the Boxing Day special price one day late, which was excellent service. I will continue to review their website, along with free shipping, which was another bonus. Great all around service, from order to delivery.

I'm simply over the moon and it arrived in a Vancouver suburb from Calgary in just 2 days. Just loaded it with all my essentials and it's the perfect size for every day. The width and especially the height and all the compartments are so right for locating items with ease without a search . . . and it even stands up on it's own. The strap is a good width and perfect crossbody length and Derek Alexander bags never disappoint with their attention to detail and high quality. I know I'm just going love using this bag. . . and should of had it a long time ago.

A bit confusing as we were expecting bag to come via Amazon.

I love this purse. It's a perfect size for what I need to pack around. The leather is soft and pliable. I like that the most. It's very well made. Strap is adjustable. Has a nice lining. It's not too heavy, like my other leather purse. I recommend this one. Zero negatives.
Loved the jacket I purchased but I had a hard time believeing it was an actual XXL jacket it was to small so I returned it for a XXXL hoping this is an actual fitgood
Received my new purse last week as a Christmas present to myself I love it. This is my second rugged earth bag and extremely well made and bought not to replace my other one but for something different. They are so well made they will last a lifetime.
I want to give this 5 stars for the actual design of the bag, it’s brilliant, all of it…size, double handles, thick straps, several zips and compartments with nice touches for items like keys, pen, etc. But the appearance and feel of mine does not resemble the photos; the leather is not as soft as I had hoped (although I hope over time surrenders a little), and one of the front pockets is so severely flattened and creased it takes away from the quality it could have achieved. Love the bag, but don’t like that one pocket doesn’t look right.
Such a unique piece. Can’t wait to wear it different ways once winter is through.
